Vansunited and its associated sites are dedicated to helping van dealers find van customers. We are doing this because no one else does it very well and so from our background working in vans and car marketing, we think there is a big opportunity for van dealers to get closer to their customers and sell more vans. So who are we?
Neil
Neil's first ever van experience was like many of us hiring a Transit minibus for a holiday. Since then various housemoves, favours for friends, office moves and work experience have seen him use Peugeot Boxers, Ford Transits, and Vauxhall Movanos. On to that you can pepper in a minibus hire of a LDV Convoy last summer for a family trip to Woburn Safari Park!
On a commercial basis Neil's experience with vans started at CD Bramall with the Bramall truck, Northside and Chatfields businesses and just a little bit of diesel getting into his veins. Neil point blank refuses to say which he thinks is the best van on the market but as always been a bit more volume than prestige ...
Duncan
Duncan's experience of direct marketing and commercial vehicles started with a stint at Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Finance although his first van was a Fiat Dicato. Despite dallying with other makes, Duncan remains loyal to the three pointed star and his favourite van is a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 313 CDi.
Andy
Andy is a technical genius behind vansunited and as well as the odd van hire, over more recent years one of Andy's first jobs was driving a bread van for Sainsburys. It kind of explains why the websites the best thing since sliced ...
Sonia
Sonia looks after emails for vansunited and is fair to say has spent her whole life involved with commercial vehicles. Sonia's experience with vans started with her role as a parts delivery driver with a Vauxhall Combo, although her current favourite van is a Vauxhall Vivaro because "you can get just about anything in the back".
Louise
Louise has plenty of experience of working with commercial vehicles having previously been PR Manager at Dixon Motors and for Lombard Vehicle Management although she sites the Mercedes-Benz Vito as her favourite van - she would wouldn't she? She has fond memories of using a 'massive sprinter' which certainly saw her turn a few heads.
Martha
Martha is relatively new to vans although she has used a well known van rental company a number of times to move houses and belongings but when it comes to her favourite van it's all done on looks and at the present time she goes for the VW Crafter.
